Sending Wedding Thank You Cards

How much time do we have to send out thank-you notes for our wedding gifts? My fiance' thinks it's six months but I believe it's sooner than that. Who's right?

You are. Wedding gift thank-yous should be sent within three months of the wedding date, so be sure to acknowledge any presets you receive before then immediately. That way, you won't be overwhelmed after the wedding. I recently received a thank-you note eight months after the wedding had taken place and it seemed a little pointless. So, be sure to put pen to paper soon after you return from your honeymoon and share the writing duties and you'll have your thank-you notes out in no time!
