How to Pick the Perfect Flower Girl Dress

"Black" is the new color for flower girls for the more dramatic and formal weddings.
It's important to remember flower girls are little girls and the dresses should be age appropriate and not "mini" versions of bridesmaid or even brides dresses.
The traditional "puffy" dress with a big bow is still very popular.
Flower girl dresses do not have to match the junior bridesmaid but most brides choose complementary dresses.
Girls under 5 years old should stay away from halter dressers and dresses with spaghetti straps.
Suggested fabrics for Summer are organza and tulle.  Suggested fabrics for Winter are satin and taffeta
Flower girl dresses should be ordered about three months prior to the wedding to account for growth and time needed to special order.
